So That didn't go over well...
Well nobody in my house really went for the no cleaning up except if company is coming rule, so I'm off to clean. I'll be back when it's done!! :)

My kids don't ever get excited about cleaning up for no good reason either. Actually, they don't even get excited about cleaning for company, but then they simply don't have a choice ;)
I hate cleaning...but I do get those moments when I wake up and that's all I do for hours!
Your kids are older, they should be doing their good share of cleaning with you. yes? no?
My 5 year old has to clean his own room, as well as all of his toys. He has to set the dinner table and he's allowed to vacuum because that's what he likes doing. Our two year old she cleans up the toys with her brother. And she likes to help Daddy fold the laundry.
