Adventures of Motherhood

I am a harried mother of three kids who move at light speed and a husband who lives in a world of words. If that isn't enough, I teach in an elementary school as I slowly watch my hair turn gray.

How Honest are you?

I wanted to know how honest you are when writing your blog. Do you write about everything that's going on in your life? Do you pick and choose? Do you worry about people in your "real" life reading what you wrote?

I'm curious..let me know!

I definitely pick and choose. I'm always afraid my kids are going to stumble across my blog somehow and although they know most things about me, they don't have to know everything! Also, I'm not really worried about people I know stumbling across it randomly, but I guess I still have this concern about putting absolutely everything on it. Isn't that funny - caring what perfect strangers think? I always avoid being specific about co-workers and anyone I'm dating. I'll write about the occassional funny date, but not anyone I date seriously for their own privacy.

i pick and choose what i have on my blog. some family members that i might write about in a sometimes scathing way read my blog. don't want that on there. and sometimes, blogs feel WAY too personal and w/my kids, i don't want to go there. i like trying to strike that balance. but what i DO write, is absolutely true (unless i say it's not).

here from michele's :)

Oh definitely I pick and choose! I'm not too comfortable sharing many details about myself. I write about some experiences I have, but never fully disclosing my details. And I use code names too, when I talk of other people.

Hi! Michele sent me!

I pick and choose but it is all definitely me, and completely honest. All of my family and friends know about the blog, so I can't afford to lie and misrepresent myself. Plus, as a follower of Christ, I don't think lying is appropriate anyway!
