Adventures of Motherhood

I am a harried mother of three kids who move at light speed and a husband who lives in a world of words. If that isn't enough, I teach in an elementary school as I slowly watch my hair turn gray.

Renovations and Report Cards

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

We have been working in our house...ordered new furniture, looking at paint and flooring...emptying out desks, filing cabinets and a huge wall unit. In addition to this, it's report card time again. I hope by the end of this week...things will be back to normal.

Well as normal as it can be with three busy children and painting the whole main floor, as well as company coming to stay with us next week, my parents the week after and then half way through my parent's visit my in-laws will be here as well.

Oh yeah, did I mention that we moved Zach downstairs to the basement (his own bachelor pad) and my office (or the "where should this go...put it in Mommy's office" room) is a little full. It is going to become our second guest room. I have to get that ready in the next 2 1/2 weeks.

Can you tell that I am stalling!!! Oh all right I'll get back to work!

Hope you're having a good day and I will keep you posted as to what is happening in The Chaos that I call my life.

Wow you've been busy! Good luck with it all. Even though it sounds like work, I'm sure it will all be wonderful when it's finished.

I am in awe of your productivity. I try to get things done and now that it's summer, it's almost impossible.

It's good to hear from you!

Good luck with all that. I totally understand how u want everything just right , specially before company comes. U start with the intention of doing this, then that, then since you're planning that, might as well do it all etc etc...then u know u have LOTS to do but it will all be worth it in the end...and doing it BEFORE vacation will help enjoy it that much more because it has all been done..........We got loads done here before ppl started arriving for our wedding. It has only been 2 days since my inlaws went back to France...it's actually QUIET and now that everything is said and done...as much as it was great fun, wonderful and perfect we are glad its ALL OVER...it's time to relax now lol. Routine is so comforting when we go without it for awhile.
