I can hardly believe that it has been 2 years now since a furry little man came into our lives. It's amazing how he has changed. I wrote about him when I first got him. It was really sad. He was so dirty that we thought he was black instead of silver. I don't think he was ever at a groomer before and now he goes monthly. He didn't know what it meant to "go outside", now he sits and the door and tells us in his endearing way to hurry up and let's go.
He has completed this family. I can't imagine life without him. He's noisy, smelly, messy, cuddly, sweet and loveable and fits just perfectly into this house. Yes, he was lucky to find us, but I think we are even more lucky to find him. The kids have learned responsibility, and care. They have felt empathy and joy. There is nothing like a cuddly puppy curled into your side when you aren't feeling well. That special greeting that you get is the same whether you're gone all day or just 5 minutes.
Yes, we are the lucky ones!
Happy welcome-home anniversary Frasier! We love you!
