Adventures of Motherhood

I am a harried mother of three kids who move at light speed and a husband who lives in a world of words. If that isn't enough, I teach in an elementary school as I slowly watch my hair turn gray.

Carmi - Up on the Walls...

Wow! We just got back from hanging all of Carmi's photos up on the walls at the art studio. I am so proud and excited, I thought I was going to explode!! I took a bunch of pictures, so once I take them off the camera, I'll post a few here.

I knew he was good, great, but until I saw them up on the walls; it's a magical experience.

I am happy to say, that I have convinced Carmi to hold a reception to show off his achievement. So if you're in town (London, Ontario) on Monday, February the 9th please join us at ArtVenture from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

A Proud Wife

I have some exciting news to share about my lovely husband. I am so proud of him. I have been telling him for years that he needs to show off his photos. I think he is so talented. For those of you who are followers of his blog , you have already seen his wonderful talent; both with a pen and a camera. Well I am pleased to let you know that Carmi will be having a photo exhibit of his work at ArtVenture studios. The exhibit is called "Photography For The Rest Of Us" and it runs for three weeks between February 1 and 21.

If you are in London or in the vicinity please come on by and take a look. For those of you who are just too far away, please go to Carmi's blog site and click on his flicker page and get a sneak peek!

I've included a link to London Arts website. They are advertising the show.

Here's the link to the posting on LondonArts.ca

When you get a chance stop by and say hi to Carmi.

From a very proud wife!

Back to Routine

It's amazing how you plan for a vacation for months, and you blink and you're back home. We truly had a fabulous holiday. We really enjoyed visiting family and friends and hanging out together, whether it was at the beach or the pool.

It's hard to get back into routine, but at the same time it feels like we never went away. I just hold on to those warm fuzzy feelings I get when I think of being away.

Carmi has already written about some of our adventures, like watching the sun rise and seeing the dolphin. He also spent 2 weeks without working. It was the best part of the vacation!

I know we are almost 2 weeks into the new year, but I just wanted to take the time to wish all of you a very happy new year. May it be a year filled with good health and happiness!
